Notice of Race
- RULES
1.1 The event is governed by the rules as defined in The Racing Rules of Sailing.
- SAILING INSTRUCTIONS
2.1 The sailing instructions will be available at 0800 on Thursday, September 14 at the venue and posted on the Official Notice Board.
- COMMUNICATION
3.1 The Official Notice Board will be located inside the clubhouse in the lobby near the back door.
- ELIGIBILITY AND ENTRY
4.1 The event is open to all boats of the Force 5 Class.
4.2 Eligible boats may enter by completing the entry form (Attachment 1) and submitting it, together with the required fee, to: Brian Hampton, 5101 Westwind Way, Anderson, SC 29626.
- FEES
5.1 The entry fee is $150 before August 15, 2023. A $25 late fee will apply to all entries from August 16 on.

Top Challenger Skipper (who has not placed in a national Force 5 event before)

Where is Western Carolina Sailing Club?
WCSC is located at the end of Westwind Way in Anderson South Carolina 29626. Anderson is just down the road from Greenville, SC and about 2 hours from Atlanta's airport. A small map showing Interstate 85 and the local directions from Exit 14 to WCSC is below. Racing will be conducted on beautiful Lake Hartwell.
